So the saga continues....
Well after an enforced work related break in proceadings, I'm now back at it. I have now cast the Splitnut, Apron, Leadscrew Bearings, Splitnut Lever, Headstock, and it's Bearing Caps. All the photos I've got right now are some general shots.

And now for the only detail shot.....

The countershaft.
The motor is a very old English built 1/4HP 1445 RPM induction motor that I found in a landfill, having done some research on this motor I now know that it is from an old cinima projector, it still works fine and may in the next year or two require new bearings but they don't run hard at this point. So far the most consistently expensive parts for the lathe have been the bearings. So far the bearings costs have totaled to about AU$300, this includes the three roller bearings I intend to use for the headstock.
